Happy Dogs and Busy Days

Know this pic has been overdone but must tell you these are 3 happy "boys" to have Kathy here. They love their chair time, all the petting, the attention, etc. I have been very happy to share them with her. They are little attention parasites.

Busy week: Kathy has been a working machine, painting the fence, weeding, helping me spread out the tarp to cover the firewood, etc. I have been picking her brain for location of arbor and plant ideas for the shade garden. One day, we worked for several hours to no avail trying to remove an iron post. Jacob happened to show up and with one easy tug removed the it. Kathy feels we should get some credit for the easy removal seeing that we worked several hours loosening/digging the surrounding soil---thanks Jacob (thanks Kat). Have put the new garden cart to use moving more soil--thanks Keith.

Hope to get this all done before TV football season begins. Jan---don't get rid of the Farve jersey--just dye it purple and you can watch Minnesota's version of cash for clunkers play football this year.

Have to include some leaves---this is part of a sweet potato vine/coleus mixture.

Do enjoy your weekend--stay healthy, be safe, and keep in touch.

Love, Mom
