Things Learned

What I have learned:

• There is a 4 1/2 month rule that should be in effect much longer than 4 1/2 months.
• Foxes eat apples, squirrels eat apples, foxes eat squirrels.
• Don't sign up to participate in a Senior Walking Program.
• Colds, sniffles, aches and pains seem to recur and last all winter.
• Pay Pal and eBay are off limits.
• Seeing 3 movies in one week makes for a great week.
• Cherish the days gone by.

Putzing

Woke up to cool/breezy morning. Sky clear, sun and moon both in the sky when I drove to Mass. Luv to be up early enough to see the sunrise. Deer are in the field each day. (Can see them clearly through my very clean windows.)

Reading, playing "Words w/Friends" on Ipod, snuggling w/the "boys", and enjoying putzing.  Make a list, check it off, and putz in between. That is the sum of my days.

Cleaning Up

Mass this AM.

Overcast, cooler w/no breeze.
 

Scheduled a window cleaner to do all the windows today. Will be nice to have sparkling windows to look out of during the drab winter months.

May go to Mass this afternoon and then later this evening  go back to Church to hear a missionary family share their last mission experience.

Catching Up

Another sunny day. Slight breeze, little cooler but sunny. Mass this AM, home to putz, possibly catch up on some reading, maybe even nap, make some soup for supper, then chill for the evening in front of the fireplace catching up on more reading/TV w/3 Dogmingos all over my lap.

Quite weekend planned. Nice.

Sunny Days

Luving these sunny days (may reach 65 degrees today). Took a winter garden tour through the yard today, getting the itch to start digging/planting---then realized it is January not April. Will confine my efforts to searching the net for plants and garden ideas for now.

Mass this AM. volunteered at rectory, ran some errands, and now home to pick up, do laundry, maybe some reading time on the patio this afternoon, TV, reading this evening by the fireplace w/the "bubs."  Speaking of "bubs"--they went to the groomer yesterday and are such fine looking/smelling guys. Nice.

It's here---2012

Amazing how time flies. Great year---lots of family visits/phone calls---wonderful!!!   Thanks to all of you for brightening my days. Look forward to a healthy, prosperous year for each and everyone of us.

Signed up for a 16 week exercise study for the "elderly" through the Wichita State University. Assessment will be on 01/19/2012---then will decide if I want to make the 16 week (one time a week) commitment. Also starting PT next week to begin a home strengthening, flexibility, and mobility program.

Sun's out!!! Mass this AM, "boys" to groomer, then off for a mom's day out.
