Silver lace vine on arbor nicely frames the plaque. Looks a lot different, huh? You almost have to double click to fully enjoy the delicate flowers. Weather is great, cool, sunny, little breeze...
Changes. Took some pics today. Was too hot this summer for pics. Really enjoying the cooler temps. Spent most of the day in the yard. Will send more pics of flowers later this week.
Mass and home stuff planned today. Making lots of phone calls to schedule winter maintenance, tidy up space in extra basement room, hang out w/the "boys", do a little yard work if the heat allows and do a little reading. That's my day---hope yours is a great one. 
Got a list(s), checking them twice, and hoping to make only one trip out to complete all the errands. Mass, volunteer at rectory, lots of phone calls, then gas up and go. Going to work in mowing, edging, possibly sweep out the garage, and playing bridge. Changed the "boys" grooming to Friday. Could use a few more hours in this week. Cooler AM weather has been wonderful.
Daily Mass, boys to groomer today at noon, volunteer at rectory, school as needed throughout the week, grocery shop, work in yard, tying up some vines, and waiting for 16---yes, 16 ornamental grass plants to arrive from Santa Rosa Nursery. They are all drought tolerant, upright, and no taller than 6'. Excited for the arrival. (Pic of switch grass--FYI: it lies down when wet or wind blown--got it from a local nursery---pretty color, not good form)
Mass, volunteering most of day at school. Home for breaklunch (short or maybe long for a late breakfast in addition to lunch), let the boys out to do their "work" and then back to school.
Off to Mass, volunteer at school to help finish a fund raising project, then home to work in the basement/yard/back field..Lots of rain/hail/thunder/lightning storms in the area last night. Nice and cool this AM. Might even put all cushions back on outdoor deck furniture and squeeze in some reading this afternoon. Where do the days go??? 
Bridge classes start this week and also planning to play hand and foot canasta w/the ladies group. Doing that as a favor for a friend. Boy! Does she ever owe me.
Mass this AM, volunteered at rectory, and enjoying another cool (wet) day. Plan to do more work on organizing/discarding more stuff and move some shrubs and stake up plants for the fall/winter.
On a mission---Went to Mass, volunteered at school, have my list and now am off to make it a day of running errands. 
Taking the long holiday weekend off. Plan to work in the yard and do some house cleaning. Just enjoy the "boys", read...
