Rained most of yesterday, went to Mass, ran an errand and stayed in most of day---grrrrr---doing diddly-squat. Always think this house is too big until I can't get outdoors then think it is so small the walls are closing in on me. I have plenty to do but want the the choice to do things inside or outside---not be closed in. If I ever need nursing home care---DON'T confine me---just take me to Yellowstone Park or Muir Woods, let me out in the park(s), leave, and let me roam. So being bored out of my mind, anticipating the winter months, went on Amazon---ordered a snow blower (small and manageable), outdoor cord, cord reel, and hand held ice melt broadcaster. The cord is only 100' so I should be able to a nice pathway to mailbox, trash barrel, patio, etc.
No rain this AM. Off to Mass, volunteer at rectory, pick Taylor up at school at noon, possible twist his arm to have lunch with me (his car is in the shop)---then come home and work inside or outdoors because I can.
Know you are all feeling blessed you were not here yesterday riding around on my broom with me. Be blessed today, stay healthy, be safe, and stay in touch.
Love,
Mom

Told the gang at Curves about your Bingo winnings. Stacey insists we have to get you a proper Bingo kit, complete with 3 different colors of daubers and some luck troll dolls to line up in front of your cards.
I suggested substituting lucky Pom figurines.
And, making PWCs recipe on Saturday and having some people over for dinner. I'll let you know how it goes, unless you want to drop by for dinner and try it out for yourself. I have leaves to rake. Weather's supposed to be good. Harry will help, lots!
PWC's ???
Thanks for all the suggestions---did have daubers for the blackout. One of the ladies sitting next to me brought in a s--t can full of them in any color you would want and all the young kids at the table were eyeing them. She shared with all of us--the kids not only used them on the blackout cards but also used them on their hands, faces, etc. It was fun watching---they weren't my daubers--they weren't my kids---could just sit back and take it all in. Now about the turkey--really did win one---we were given certificates to go and pick them up----Stopped by and gave my certificate to the coordinator this AM. You could say I had a turkey for a day.
Let's keep Vic guessing about the PWCs.
Addendum: Gave my turkey certificate to the coordinator of St Pat's Lord's Pantry. They are hoping to get enough turkeys to distribute to the people who come for food each Tuesday.
Vic--google Pioneer Woman Cooks and check out the white chicken enchillada recipe!
C'mon mom--you know you're torturing her with curiosity!
And if it had been your kids (aka "us") doing the daubing we would have gotten the "Tsk . . . Hmph" and we would have stopped misbehaving immediately (as if we ever would misbehave). Do your 3 fur boys know that command yet?
OM That recipe just keeps going on and on. You two enjoy the PWC's - they lost me at the pics.
Kat - we will see if mom has done the correction song with the "boys" at Thanksgiving.
You too are too much!! (fun that is).
