Monday, Monday

A new week, and a change of staff--Kurt and Linda are heading back to Virginia today, and Terry's going to take over the night shift at the hospital.

Pop is still a guest of Via Christi and says that room service could be improved but he's glad his family is around to take up the slack. He had 1550cc's of fluid pulled off chest yesterday, but hemoglobin was 8.5 today, which is good. Oxygen is still being given and he's receiving nebulizer treatments to help with breathing.

He's been taking walks and has met his goal of reaching the end of the hallway and touching the door at the far end. Kurt was very proud of the determination and will it took to reach this goal. But we have more goals to reach, so keep those thoughts and prayers coming . . .
