"Hot" flowers

The flowers are still doing well. Early morning pictures are the best---catches them before they have their daily heat wilt. Plan on another 100+ day. This is a different type of Galardia, note the separate blossoms around the center. They do well in drought.

Plan to fo to Mass, volunteer at the rectory for an hour or so, grocery shop, possibly have lunch with Susie and Carolyn, water lawn/flowers, and try to stay cool this afternoon. Exciting---huh?

Declined the invitation to go to Mt Carmel's 50th year class reunion. Have enough changes in my life right now---just trying to handle the daily stuff.
