FINALLY THE TRIP TO ONCOLOGY APPOINTMENT

Finally it's time for the oncology appointment. Pop has a dentist appt this am and then we are off to get things moving. Pop is achy; mostly in his legs. We are also having cooler weather. Severe pain still controlled throughout night/day w/regular doses of pain medication. Pop asked me this am if I thought his pain medication might be habit forming. Told him of the importance of taking the pain medication and habit forming is not even a consideration at this point. Stressed comfort and function was the goal for now. His appetite was great yesterday. Kathy left this am to return home. Keep her in your thoughts for a safe trip and of course to Pop that we can move forward for a firm diagnosis and treatment plan.
