Pop had a great night's sleep. Feeling better, feeling like doing more; went to the Mickey D. club meeting, watched hockey practices/scrimmages at ice rink, walked with the "boys" and me yesterday. He is planning on playing golf today (first time in 3 weeks). Have finally made a believer of him (with several in-services) of the importance of pain control. His appetite is also better. Talked to him yesterday about bypassing the Wichita Docs and going straight to Mayo. He is adamant he plans to receive care locally but did say "not ready yet to go to Mayo." Now we just wait until local MD appts. Keep the good thoughts, prayers, and wishes coming to Pop---It is working!!!!!!Love,
