Monica and Ben came for a visit yesterday. It was great--enjoyed the visit with Monica and of course Ben was a bonus---happy baby, such sweet smiles, great day!
Hostas and marigolds are thriving. (The water department will also benefit this month from the extra watering required to keep them thriving).
Have a busy day planned and a quiet evening in the works. Woke up to 80+ degree temperature this AM with promise of 102+ by afternoon. Plan to go to Mass, have volunteered to do some cleaning at the rectory today, come home and mow, edge, weed before it gets too hot, and then chill with the pup posse---almost sure a nap will be worked in there somewhere.
